Originally from Singapore, I serve as Executive Director of A Rocha USA, a faith-based environmental conservation organization and part of the worldwide network of A Rocha organizations.
My undergraduate training is in environmental biology from Wheaton College (IL) and I have a PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida (USA), where I remain affiliated as a Courtesy Assistant Professor in the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation.
I am also an ordained Christian minister and have nearly two decades of experience engaging faith communities around social and environmental concerns, including being featured in media outlets ranging from Audubon Magazine and Christianity Today to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
